With 'Terra Erma', Vicent Carda offers a view of desires and intentions, a memory of a recent past. A sensual vision of the closest territory. Creating atmospheres that replicate specific spaces and gestures, the artist explores lived narratives, approaching the territory where he grew up and worked as a farmer. Carda uses familiar tree branches, from orange trees, to bring the viewer a new format of immersion. His latest projects always start from an installation complemented with sketches, drawings, and various objects. This intertwining of different media allows generating situations that approach the liminal and the dreamlike, transforming the exhibition space into a battlefield, a workspace, a visual space that goes beyond the anecdotal and real.
